Community Support

A large part of the mission of Les Marmitons of Ottawa-Gatineau is to support the community in general and the culinary community. This support comes in the form on monetary donations and the club members helping at food-based community events.

A couple of examples that we currently support or have supported in the past are:

Scholarships for students in the culinary arts at Algonquin College and La Cité collégiale
Funding, equipment, and supplies at Parkdale Food Centre
Support of chefs competing at the Culinary Competitions
Help preparing and service of the meal for Operation Big Turkey Christmas community service
Assisting local Chefs with their fundraising endeavors.
